Nas pesquisas realizadas e disponíveis no site do Alto Comissariado das Nações Unidas para os Refugiados (ACNUR), verificou-se o índice de solicitação de refúgio, devendo com esse resultado realizar uma reflexão sobre o tema proposto perante a importância do reconhecimento aos refugiados ambientais que eles merecem, além da aplicação dos direitos humanos.
