The starting point of this reflection is to discuss the relevance of preventive archeology studies concerned with the preservation of archaeological heritage, taking into account that this discipline is directly related to the exponential growth of researches carried out within the scope of environmental licensing over the last decade in our country.
O ponto de partida desta reflexão busca discutir acerca da relevância que estudos de arqueologia preventiva apresentam na preservação do patrimônio arqueológico, levando em consideração que essa vertente da disciplina está diretamente relacionada ao crescimento exponencial de pesquisas no bojo do licenciamento ambiental ao longo da última década em nosso país.
