Variante do sistema de compensação net-metering em que a compensação, em vez de ser em forma de energia, é em valor monetário mas a energia injetada na rede tem um valor inferior ao da energia consumida. Tal como acontece no net-metering, se o balanço energético líquido for positivo, ou seja, o consumo da rede foi superior à injeção na rede, o prosumer tem que pagar o excesso no entanto, se for negativo normalmente não recebe qualquer crédito.
Meaning
Net billing is a billing arrangement where a consumer is charged for the net amount of electricity they consume from the grid after subtracting the amount of electricity they generate and feed back into the grid from their own renewable energy sources.
