A presente pesquisa tem como principal finalidade realizar uma análise da Geografia dentro da nova base curricular para o Ensino Médio, a BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular), sendo um documento de caráter normativo, que traz a nova composição curricular da Reforma do Ensino Médio estabelecida na Medida Provisória nº7,6 de 20,6, estabelecendo uma comparação entre a estrutura curricular presente na BNCC e as que constam nas Orientações Curriculares para o Ensino Médio de 20,6, com a finalidade de identificar as principais modificações ocorridas e suas implicações para o Ensino de Geografia no Ensino Médio.
